    Barre, VT's own Nick Sweet claimed the 2010 Thunder Road Late Model “King of the Road” title with his third place finish on Aubuchon Hardware Late Model Championship night on Thursday, August 26. Sweet’s third was enough to edge out Middlesex’s Dave Pembroke by just six points.

    WATERFORD- Young ACT Sensation Joey "Pole" Polewarczyk knew something was special in the air on Saturday Night, as the ACT Late Models rolled into town for the first of two events to be held at the Connecticut historic racing oval.     This past Friday & Saturday provided a great opportunity to size up the two big Modified tours on back to back nights. Friday night the Whelen Modified Tour was at Stafford Springs, while on Saturday night the Modified Racing Series was at Beech Ridge.

    Type of facility – going to call this a draw as both Stafford and Beech Ridge are top notch (in fact I think Beech Ridge has the best weekly program going – bar none!!!) and very clean w/ good eats.

    So, we all have our reasons for spending time at the race track instead with our families. What's your reasoning? I know for me it means smelling the race fuel burning in the pits, the friends I have met throughout the years, the pure competition of it all. Thats what get's my adreniline going!

    Welcome to the new Victory Lane Forum. This is totally 'new to me' software. During the transition over from SMF to VBulletin a couple things could not be kept. The most important thing that could not be brought over was your member password. The only thing you need to do is go to the login screen and type in your forum member name and then your password or any password and then hit enter. It will say invalid login and then it will say "lost your password? Click HERE."

    Go ahead and click the word HERE, it will send you a temporary password in which to use to login into the mew Forum with and then you can change it to whatever you want in the "Your Profile" area

    So remember even if you know your password, you still have to reset it. It literally takes less than a minute. If you do not have access to the email address you originally signed up to VLF with, then you will have to re-register.
