Those TSS car counts are HORRIBLE.
NEXT year I already have my vote in for ACT to can TSS and to to Riveriside. At least they get a very good car count up there in all divison including LMS.
My take is that the car count was disappointing, but not totally unexpected. The crowd wasn't great, but it was probably the biggest of the year for that track. One only needs to take a look at the size of the support divisions (8 mods, 9 Super Streets, 5 Strictly Stocks) to see why not many people go to Twin State on a regular basis.
I thought the race itself was good (especially that 15 or 20 lap side-by-side battle for the lead that Hayward and Fellows had), although it was differently the roughest Tour race of the season with 8 cautions and several bent race cars).
Several drivers were really wailing the crap out others around them. The most repeat offenders I saw were Chris Bergeron, Mark Lamberton, and Dave Payea. Payea proved again that he’s basically a weapon out on the track until he wrecks his car bad enough that it can’t keep up with the rest of the pack.
Ben Rowe & Aaron Fellows both took unusual paths to top 3 finishes. Yes they both started on the front row and finished in the top 3, but each also dropped back during the race (in Rowe’s case to almost outside the top 10, while Fellows slide wasn’t quite that deep), before moving back up into the top 3.
It was a neat sight to see the reaction of Hayward and his crew to their first ACT Tour win. Watching them climb the ladder up to ACT Tour race contender the last 3 or 4 years has been fun to watch, and getting a chance to race at Loudon means a lot to them too.
Fellow’s crew went absolutely nuts when it was announced they had earned an invitation to the Loudon practice with their ACT Tour performance.
I think victory lane at Twin State left a lot of fans feeling good as they headed home.
ACT 100%ers are now down to 15 teams/cars.
There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.

I am actually shocked that there wasn't more cars showing up for this ACT national points championship event and I am not shocked that 7 out of the top 10 finishing cars started in the top 10.
yes riverside has a good lm count but only a had full can race because there car's are with in the act rule
better year brian.. lease tss and run the track and see how good you are at it...
This was ACT smallest race of the year. Not like PASS HUGE NATIONAL EVENT THAT they had only 24 cars for.
This was a race that most likley won't even be on the ACT schedule next year. I didn't even attend this event.
TSS car count for their division, 9, 8, 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That should tell you something.
Like I said this race shouldn't even count.
There will be 81 ACT LATE MODELS just practicing at NHMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What do you have to say about that VTMARTINFAN???????
Nothing... cause you are a HATER! The wosrt kind of HATER!!!
By the way... Milk Bowl this year... 65 PLUS!!! AT LEAST!!!
Read and wheep.
act said only 80 invites humm rule change again there some thing new
couple of things first off just cause 81 cars are invited does not mean they all show up its just a invite and some teams may not be able to run for finacial or other reasons. second jeff alot more of riversides lms cars are on spec shocks and motors.

wow, full time list dropped to 14 or 15 depending on whos count you use. I will say 15 and use Andys count. Sounds like from a fans point of view it was a good race, at least that is how I read Andys posting. Anytime you walk away from a track with a good feeling about the race and results is a good night. Why would ACT drop the event, sounds like the crowd was large and they had a good car count? Just because they didnt pull 40+ cars Andyfan wants to drop it.

I don't think Chris Bergeron was rough at all. He had a super fast car and was being patient the 16 was wailing on him in fact dumping him when he was up to 7th or so. The 57 drove up inside the lr qtr smashing that all to hell as well. I think he had something for the boys in the front. Chris Riendeau was the victim of getting turned as well pretty sure it was the 05 now that car is a total loss. Everything in it is pretty much junk. Very disappointed with the lack of respect from all competitors. The 10 flat out dumps the 55 and nothing happens? Joey pole spins into the infield involved in a wreck and gets his spot back? really? All I could say was wow. Hayward and Fellows put on a great show side by side for quite a while.
#4vt Chris "The Weasel" Riendeau says the car is "Junk" and they are done for the year. That stinks, he is a very talented 18 year old!
